Who We Are

Our HARP research team is dedicated to understanding and intervening on the emotional influences of cardiovascular health. As a team, we are interested in understanding the emotions and behaviors that improve health outcomes for individuals with or at-risk for heart disease. Our HARP lab team is comprised of graduate students and doctoral students enrolled in the clinical psychology program at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, supervised by Dr. White.

Our work is not possible without our colleagues and collaborators. Our colleagues are experts and also distinguished authorities in academic and clinical medicine, particularly in congenital heart disease.
